SME 3009 - how setting LIFT height?

Hi, I would like to understand how to set the lift height of a 3009
(that loose screw can move in horizontal but not height)

That screw does allow movement in both horizontal and vertical planes, but it looks like you already have it as high as it will go. Have you considered adding a layer to the underside of the plate where the 'pin' contacts the arm?

For another SME 3009 (lift too low) I did this!
This time the LIFT is too high!

If it's too high you should be able to lower the clamp on the shaft. It looks like the top section of the pillar is threaded, if so you can release the 'pillar to base' clamp, as well as the lifter clamp. With both loose it should be possible to rotate the pillar and lower the lift collar, then re-tighten both clamps.

this becomes very interesting, considering also the screw N ° 2 blocked!

turn everything ... SME: what a stupid system

screw 2 blocked! a big problem to setting the VTA
