Actually, I have a black, generic "swiss cheese" headshell which I happen to know, weighs 7.12 grams. It was obtained for a Japanese table I no longer have.

My tentative plan was to combine it with a Shure M3D cartridge with N7-21D stylus (so it will track @ 1.5 to 2 grams) an use it on this SME arm at some time.

I figure that cartridge could probably be employed as the SME arm is Series II non-improved.

Currently what I have on the factory SME headshell is a Stanton 681 EE. It will likely remain - I've had that cartridge since brand new about 45 years ago now. It has played many albums and I have new styli on hand.
