One more than yesterday.

A Phonosophie No.3 arrived this morning. Absolutely pristine early version with TP90 tonearm. Just about up and running now.

Definitely time for the Michell Gyro and Rega P25 to go! :(

I currently have 6 although at least 3 and possibly 4 need to go. I don't have time for the projects anymore....

1. Thorens TD-125 MKII w/SME 3009 Series III
2. Thorens TD-126 MKII w/SME 3009 S2 Improved
3. Technics SL-Q2
4. Technics SL-D202
5. Hitachi HT-324
6. Pro-Ject Debut USB
I'm sure you could probably sell any here in the VE classifieds...

...as there are always newbies looking for a decent turntable at a fair price, as well as collectors looking for another "project" to add to their collection... #-o

Yes, once I get settled they will likely end up for sale here.

I am new to this forum as of tonight. I have a TD-126 MKIII Electronic which I've been using since I bought it about 1977. Finally having my first problems with motor bearing noise.
Do you know if the MKII and MKIII have the same motor? I might be interested in your MKII if so.

I have 1 right now. A Yamaha Pf20. It's about 35 years old and has been shelved for about the last 15 years. It was a great sounding TT with an OM 10.
I think it needs to be retired now. The springs popped through the dust cover hinges so it won't stay open any more. There is a part that rattles around inside. It seems to work fine except the speed is noticeably off. It may just need a belt since this is the original belt.
I dont want to spend a 100 bucks on a new stylus and belt for this one.

You DO have a problem...You have an Ion mixed in with those other five...

I kid, because we all have to start somewhere...

And you have a few nice models there...The Pioneers are definitely cool! :)

I love my PL-12D II, in fact! =D>

Of course, as someone who's owned THIRTY-THREE tables in my collection, I've had to deal with all kinds of various record-playing devices!

Now, what was your problem again??? :-k

Unfortunately they're completely different; MkI/II/IV are AC, the MkIII is DC.

As an aside, you risk all sorts of spam and nonsense putting an active email address on an open forum; it might be worth dropping a line to JaS (owner/admin) to see if he can delete it from your original post...

Just picked up No.9 and 3rd Technics, a 1 owner, lovely clean, rock solid, SL-Q2.

Bargain price (single and only bid on eBay) of £99 with a Technics EPC-207C cart/headshell.
