Is there a way to find out how heavy the counterweight need to be?
You could mount a cartridge centrally in the slots and then hang weights about 2/3 along the rear stub until it is balanced. Measure the total mass of the weights and you have a rough idea what should work :-k
Thanks! I'll start out from there.

From what I've been able to google it was manufactured by Jenco. Going to frankenstein a counterweight for it over the weekend.

Magnepan Unitrac 1?

If so, there are instructions in the library.

Its a Unitrack. Great arm, but be very careful with the cartridge carrier - replacements are unobtanium unless someone has started 3D printing them, which would be an excellent idea.
What cartridge is on it?
Not everyone likes unipivots because of their drunken behavior while they are being handled. In actual use, once on the record, their behavior is impeccable.

If you are mounting make sure you use the Unitrac template. The mounting position of the base is not like any other tonearm. Great arm if set up correctly. Those washer like weights are not anti-skate. They set azimuth. Read the manual.

Anyone familiar with this tonearm. It's Siemens RW777/Sanyo Plus q50
I am pretty sure neither Siemens nor Sanyo made it.
Micro Seiki LMF1 or 2 variation?
Cheers,

Rather looks like an ADC LMF-2 but the anti skate dial doesn’t seem quite right.

I believe that is the tonearm on one of the Sanyo Q series tables. The platter doesn't look tall enough to be a Q 50 or 60s, so I suspect it is a lower model, perhaps the 30. Good tables from the high end line of a mass market maker.

Supposed to be Michell Engineering but I can't find something similar in the tonearm database. Which model is it and how does it hold up to VPI's JMW 9T or 10.5 arms?

Thanks!
