Pics look good, every angle is presented. Enjoy newfound control over VTA parameter, down to fractions of a mm. =D>

I had a bit of a "wobble" in the adjustment.
Not a real problem for me as I was not looking for on the fly adjustments of 0.01mm
The only thing I'm looking for is repeatable hight adjustments when I switch cartridge.

None the less the maker insisted I send the unit back for a revise as he wasn't happy what he saw when I showed him a video.
So it was dismantled today and send back.

The maker had a improved version on the drawing board though that costed some more, but after looking at a drawing he send me I was convinced I had to had that one.
So its already on the way for a trade in...

I also have one of those, got it about 2 weeks ago and installed it.

I'm not noticing any wobble.

Did you tighten the grub screw in the upper ring?

Yes I have...
The wobble was from within the micrometer, not a production fault from the unit itself.
I think it was a off-centre adjust mechanism...
Though improved version will have more stability for sure.

There are others for sale as well, a simple aluminium clip screwed at the bottom of the bearing house which hold a micrometer that simply pushes the arm up.
Those things are crap, and what I like about this one is that the pen of the micrometer is fixed in a bearing which sits in the collar so in theory when you unscrew the fixing nut, the arm is still fixed by the lift mechanism which then in theory allow a adjustment on the fly.

This thing is well thought of...
The one thing that might be an issue as someone else pointed out: the mechanical draining of the resonances as you introduce a few parts that will have a "high impedance" to speak in electrical terms...

But we have to see whether that is a real issue in the final sound results...

Sorry if I missed it, but who makes this VTA adjuster?

I bought one of those crap ones, too, before getting the version talked about in this thread. Not only was the crap one crappy, but on my armboard / TT it wasn't long enough to do the required job.

The new improved version seems to be on the way.
Hoping to get it installed this week, soundwise I still have to wait until I receive my main bearing back from the new oil impregnation its getting...

I bought this on the fly VTA adjuster for $50 on eBay and I had to get the inside diameter turned to accommodate the Jelco shaft of 18 mm. Going to install it when I get the cable for the tonearm.

Looks simple and rigid, well done!
