There's also one on Ebay by Douk Audio, and what looks like the same one on Amazon by Dobsound (same packaging by Amari) but they're in China, and there are no reviews. It looks nice though.
Ha! I got an e-mail from Roy about this time last year and he said they'd have one out by fall 2017. Sounds like it's not firmed up. The Douk Audio is also an AT copy and about the same price as the Music Hall was slated to be. Kind of pricey coming straight from the manufacturer but I've noticed that for alot of the better direct from the manufacturer Chinese gear lately that it's now creeping up on prices that are found here. It wouldn't surprise me that the one Music Hall was going to market is/was the Amari as I think they build the Music Hall record cleaning machine.

I'd be tempted to try the Expressimo if it came in stainless or brushed, even black. I know I'm nitpicking, but I'd bet he would sell a whole lot more of those if he offered choices.

It's not the noise that concerns me, but shock to the tonearm or cartridge.

I would not describe it as delivering a shock to the tonearm, much less the cartridge. It is a scissor action between the post and the swinging arm. The tonearm sits in the 'V' between them and as the 'V' gets smaller the tonearm moves up.

I can relate. Wondering if the $40 U-Turn Orbit lifter would work with other tables?

I have Q-up. I looks like piece of s**t, but works flawlessly. And I am not going to pay more than 20% of the cost of my TT for a convenience device.
