TD-126 Mk II Thorens serial #17500. Just finished restoring, new caps and transistors, newly laquered plinth, adjusted circuit board voltages, set suspension (I think), and has a rare TPO-63 arm with a new Ortofon OM30 stylus. Sounds good, a little bit of hum at upper volume levels. I have some Eichmann Bullet Plugs that should work better than the original tarnished RCA's. Great turntable, sounds great!

In time it shall come. I still need to do a the last coating of laquer and a little sanding and oiling on the thick and solid beechwood plinth to be worthy of a picture.

And a good picture that I can't take without any good enough device to do so. But I do have friends that are more able and have the gear to do so. For the last laquer coating it takes one week for it to dry.

This means one week without any turntable action. Since I am doing the same tweaks to a TD150 MKI recently acquired, I'd rather wait to have that one running to be able to play my records in the meantime I finish my TD160 'E'
