Technics SL-Q210

Post by gaz_haz » 13 Feb 2020 07:59

Hello there .. I have a Technics SL-Q210 turntable and the rubber feet have gone brittle. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could get replacement feet and where I could get them. Is there any other model turntable that has the same feet?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

It is likely that all TTs within the same family group of Q2, Q20, Q200, Q202 and Q210 would use the same or very similar feet. There are quite a few offerings of used feet on ebay, but a close look at your table and these other table manuals would be wise first. There won't be any new feet in all likelihood. Adoption of modern (but more expensive) sorbithane feet might be a consideration if originals can't be tracked down. Also, if the springs are still intact, you can DIY with any similar cushioning material inserted within the springs, such as thick gel-foam mat material. Lots of possibilities if you chose to go this route. Some off the shop furniture feet actually work very well with a little modification. Just ideas thrown out to you. :)

I adapted these sorbothane bushing grommets from “Stopvibration” in Australia for my SL-1400.

There are some interesting options on that site.
