I am in the process of buying a new turntable. I had narrowed my choice down to the TEAC TN 300 and the Sony PS HX500 as I have a budget of around £250.
I went to my local Richer Sounds store to have a demo of both of these, I was able to have a demo of the Sony, which sounded pretty ok. I was unable to have a demo of the TEAC due to the fact that the only one they had in the store was missing its belt!
Whilst I was there, they showed me the Audio Technica AT LP5. I like the look of this one and would be able to afford it if I stretch my budget slightly.
Whilst looking for reviews online, I came across this video, which highlits problems with the anti skating mechanism:

Has anyone had problems with the anti skate on this turntable, and if so, is it easily fixable?
I would be glad of peoples opinions on this matter and also opinions on the Audio Technica AT LP5 in general.
