In Between Dreams......Jack Johnson.......I have to make a comment here ...this is a really great recording on CD....the production is excellent and brings out all the important points , the acoustics are perfect and every aspect of guitar bass ,drums and vocal are captured perfectly............does anyone have a vinyl copy of this and how is the situation on that ?

I usually put CD's on to warm the valves whilst cooking our evening meal.
I also have a CD player in the bedroom for late night music.

I also have a pretty good "NAD" CD player having only gotten back into vinyl about two years ago.
I have duplicated many of my favorites in vinyl and have been lucky to get NM copies......... in addition to many vinyl titles I never had in any format.

Having said that, there are CDs that were never released in vinyl and a few CDs that actually sound better in CD for whatever reason.

So, yesterday I actually played two different CDs....

1) Robert Hazard - Troubadour
This was never released in vinyl..... very well mastered.

2) Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon.
I also have a original vinyl pressing of this but, it has seen much better days.
Pristine copies of the OP are going for extremely high prices and....... I refuse to buy a recent digital remaster simply transferred to vinyl......what is the point?
However, about three years ago I got an '85 CD release on the "Capital" label (CDP 7 46001 2) which is considered by some to be one of the best masterings on any format.:)
