Wanted Victor (Jvc) TT71 or TT81 turntable

Post by riccardo » 25 Jan 2016 14:58

Hello friends,
someone owns and wants to sell this tonearm?

I also need:
- tonearm Stax UA 70;
- 78 rpm stylus for Shure M95 (Shure part N95-3 or equivalent);
- tonearm cable and box for Victor (JVC) UA 7082.

Thank you very much,
Riccardo from Italy

Why only the TT-81. The TT-71 has better specs. Just asking

Hi, because some months ago I found a TT-71. Are you sure about the TT-71 better specs?

Being an owner of a TT-101 can you tell us where your getting these numbers from?

I see S/N references but not rumble. The TT-71 is a base model equal to a QL-7
in North America.

Did you ever find a Stax UA-70 for your turntable. I have a TT-71 and I was wondering how the combination worked for you.

Hi, by now I passed on the Stax, because I found a Yamaha YA-9 (I think made by Stax, given its similarities with the UA-7), sounding really good.

Stax UA 7 is the short version of UA 70.

Problem is I already have the TT-71 and you need a long arm for that one.

Just made a multi arm plinth for the same diameter drive the TT-101 and it will mount a 9" arm
a 12" 10 1/2" etc.
Not sure what your problem with shorter arms is.

Depends on how big the base is on the arm. I have a VTA collar that is about 3" in diameter and a 9 inch will not mount with it installed.
