This is a header listing for the component parts of my Michell Gyrodec - Gyro SE hybrid. I'm selling them because I now have a Technics SL-1200G that I expect to last me well into my dotage.
These components are being listed exclusively on Vinylengine for around two weeks, after which they'll be put up on "the bay" with increased prices to compensate for the listing fees, etc.
The components as follows are listed individually below:
1. Michell Gyrodec - Gyro SE turntable.
2. SME M2-9 tonearm.
3. SME FD IIIS fluid damper to fit item 2.
If you would like all three components, then a reduced price of £1,500 applies for the total, and includes shipping to the mainland UK. Alternatively, I would be happy to swap either the turntable or the tonearm for a Naim NAC 82 with NAPSC and MM boards.
Please note that I am not open to any other offers, but I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

Re: FS: Gyrodec and SME M2-9
This Gyro is complete and fully functional but does not include a tonearm. From the serial (4468) I believe this was originally a mk 3 made between 1992 and 96. It has been converted at some stage to SE spec by the addition of a spider, hence there's no dust cover or brass badge. Apart from these changes there are no parts missing.
It comes with the original Papst external rotor AC synchronous motor and the Gyropower after market power supply. It has also been fitted with the later two piece suspension posts and the delrin armboard spacers. You can have it with either a Rega (old type) or an SME type armboard, please specify which you would like. It has a few 7/32" ball bearings and a small bottle with some 10W40 oil.
It's not new, and it's been apart and together a few times. There is some minor cosmetic damage that you can plainly see in the photos below. It comes packed in a genuine Michell box for a later Gyro SE that has been adapted to fit the Gyropower.
The price is £800 including shipping to the mainland UK and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

This SME M2-9 is complete, fully functional, in immaculate condition and boxed with all accessories and paperwork. It even has a receipt for a warranty repair of a dry joint undertaken about a year ago.
There is no cartridge included, and no turntable, just the tonearm. The fluid damper is listed separately below. It is not included.

Re: FS: Gyrodec and SME M2-9
This SME FD IIIS was originally intended for a series III tonearm. A clamp and screw from an FD200 kit have been added and the reservoir has been adapted to work with any of the SME M2 series tonearms as described in this thread, which also does a splendid job of describing how to fit it:

Note that it will still fit a series III or IIIS, and could also be used on a series II, but you might need the extended cueing lever (which I don't have). It's boxed and wrapped in cling film to keep the damping fluid contained and clean, and comes with both long and short paddle screws and all three paddles.
The price is £125 including shipping to the mainland UK and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
