Gooseneck with 230V tungsten/halogen spot reflector lamp, equipped with a 720nm IR-Filter (49mm glass filter on 43mm adapter, now attached w rtv silicone - UV will harm plastic parts!) shows about 58W max. input power (75W rating!) and works quite directional (but focus and therefore efficiency are strongly dependent on individual sample!). Warming up the cart the first 5°C takes no longer than 10min. In this case the spot lamp is dimmed to ~30W, also to shift the spectrum below 3000K and to increase lamp life.
