The Yamaha MC-11 is a cross-matrix type moving coil cartridge featuring a tapered aluminium cantilever with one point suspension system and fitted with a special elliptical diamond stylus.

Stylus: 0.1 x 0.2mm rectangular diamond

Armature: V-H cross-shaped 78% permalloy core

Suspension: twisted wire, one-point suspension system

Damper: equalising damper for V-H control

Housing: monoblock terminals in high-impact plastic case

Output: 0.35mV

Channel balance: within 1dB

Channel separation: more than 28dB

Impedance: 30 ohms

Frequency response: 20 to 20,000Hz

Recommended tracking force: 1.8g (+-0.3g)
