Pioneer PL-30

The Model PL-30 is a high-performance belt-driven record player, an achievement which can be done only by Pioneer, the world leading manufacturer in the high fidelity industry.

The platter is driven by a belt-driven system featuring a constant speed synchronous motor which exhibits the least harmful vibration and a semi-permanent-lasting polyurethane belt which has a strong resistance against heat, humidity, and grease invasion.

The 12" diameter platter has an outstanding moment of inertia and is made of aluminium alloy and weighs 1.2kg.

A matched combination of the tonearm having excellent trackability and the cartridge a high compliance characteristic assures highly accurate music reproduction and added record protection. Also, the frequency response is remarkably wide and flat.

The belt-driven PL-30 incorporates the auto-return and auto-cut mechanisms newly developed by Pioneer. These devices provide an extreme ease of operation with maximum record protection.

New cushion adaptors are provided on the bottom of the cabinet to prevent unpleasant howling from occurring.

The incomparable cabinet design has made full use of the grain of natural wood, reflecting the traditional warmth and charm of the Orient. This beautiful appearance is an added feature.
