The Lynwood Valve is a two-box tube preamplifier designed for use with moving magnet phono cartridges.

To use the unit with MC cartridges the solid-state head amp is required.

Total harmonic distortion: -67.5dB

Input loading: 46.8 kohm / 200pf


It's strengths outweighed it's weaknesses and it made a good job out of most everything that was played through it - £295 (head amp £95) HiFi Choice 1992
