Effective mass: 9.5g (14g II/S)

Bearings: precision ball race

Headshell: fixed, standard 12.7mm mount (azimuth adjustable on II/S)

Fixing hole diameter: 30.5mm

Height: adjustable

Finish: hard anodized black

Weight: 500g (II), 550g (S)

The Logic Datum provided a good, competitive sonic standard. The bass was pretty firm and even, with good detail, and while a touch of nasal colouration was apparent in the mid register, this was well controlled. The treble was better still, being well balanced and showing good detail - £75 HiFi Choice 1984
