The GH 228 is a lightweight 9-inch design with offset counterweight for lateral balance adjustment and falling weight anti-skate.

Optional GH uni-lift can be fitted for damped cueing control.

Pivot stem length to top of arm: 86.4mm

Pivot to stylus point: 228.6mm

Pivot to centre of turntable: 212.85mm

Offset angle: 23 degrees

Rear overhang: 60.9mm

Bearing friction: 6mg

Length of leads: 1219mm

The GH Uni-lift mk3 is the ideal companion to this arm


Subjectively the GH228 was credited with a sense of openness and clarity, a feature on which all listeners commented and were impressed with. It was effective in providing some perspective to music rather than shrouding it in a veil of colouration - Noel Keywood HFN 1978
