ESL S-2000

Your ESL S-2000 transcription arm is the finest device of its kind made today.

Prior to the introduction of the Gyro/Balance principle by ESL in the spring of 1959, optimum phonograph playback required very precise aligment and leveling of turntables.

Otherwise, gravitational forces made a cartridge stylus ride only one side of the record groove, causing undue wear and distortion.

With the advent of Stereo recording the situation became truly critical.

Designed for mono or Stereo cartridges such as the ESL Gyro/Jewel.
