Dynavector DV 507
Bi-Axis Inertia Controlled Dynamic-Balance Type Tonearm

Description
The DV507 is an improved version of the award winning DV505 bi-axis tonearm.
Overall height and length (along with weight) have been reduced to allow use on a wider range of turntables, and vertical bearing friction has been decreased for improved performance.
Anti-skating is now adjusted by means of a calibrated dial, rather than the string and weight of the DV505, and tracking force adjustment is in 0.2g steps rather than 0.25.
The mkII version of the arm features a newly designed headshell and improved wiring throughout.

Effective length: 241mm

Review
Strictly speaking, the DV507 no longer competes with state of the art tonearms, at least not in hi-fi terms. However, its relaxed musicality can teach more than a few of them a thing or two.
