Dual CS 606


The Dual CS 606 is a semi-automatic single-play turntable with electronically regulated direct drive.

The unit is fitted with a ULM (Ultra Low Mass) aluminium tubular tonearm and Ortofon manufactured ULM55E cartridge.


Drive: EDS 500 electronically controlled direct drive system

Speeds: 33.33 and 45rpm

Pitch control: 10%

Wow and flutter: 0.03%

Platter: 1.4kg 304mm non-magnetic

Tonearm: distortion free aluminium tubular tonearm with tuning anti-resonator

Rumble: 75dB

Effective length: 221mm


Both in terms of lab measurement and extensive listening tests, the Dual 606 performed in a most exemplary manner.

Considering its price, performance and sound quality, we would therefore assign a REAL rating of Excellent bordering on the superb, to this moderately priced combination - REAL Sound 1979
