The DP-72L features an AC servo motor and a DST tonearm with interchangeable arm wands and auto lift mechanism.

It also features a thick precision turntable platter exhibiting superb acoustic characteristics.

The use of a thick turntable platter to minimise vibrations transmitted from external sources is essential for clear sound reproduction.
