The Audio Technica Model AT-21 is a new type stereo phonograph cartridge which is designed to generate electrical signal by exciting a moving element of small mass, made of special alloy, in conjunction with a powerful magnet.

It features a series of unique concepts in the design of the moving element which are considered to be the key to the high performance magnetic type cartridges.
