AEC Decca C91
Phono Cartridge

Description
Developed with the Decca special products division and featuring a new magnetic circuit with reduced hum, increased output and a reduction of stray magnetic field enabling steel turntables to be used.
The new AEC C91 cartridge retains the 'positive scanning' system now recognised worldwide to be essential for top quality reproduction.
The greatest advantage of this system is the extreme clarity and liveliness of the sound of such a cartridge, which can be compared to that of master tapes.
Previously a disadvantage, as with all other hand made products, was the variability of some tolerances.
Decca Special Products are marked by extremely high quality and unit to unit repeatability.
Additionally, they boast a lower tracking force of 1.5 to 2g for the conical stylus version and 1 to 1.5g for the new, elliptical version.
