This stylus (mine is K8-E) came fitted to my 1981 Technics TT when it was originally purchased. Overall, it sounds darn good in my mid-fi setup. Good detail, slightly bright on some recordings, mids are present, not overly warm. Bass is tight and well controlled. No bloom to speak of. Presents good balance in my system. Output level is on higher side.
Tracks well. IGD is present but not brutal like with my Ortofon OM.
