Need help with a Dual SP 110

Postby joeknows28 » 13 May 2012 20:39

I got it in a garage sale and it did not come with any power supply wires, nor any connecting wires to speakers, tuner, or anything like that. it has what looks like a cartridge hook up or something in the back but i have not been able to find anything online about this turntable. infact the only thing i find is about an sp 100 yet it shows no wires or hook ups either so i cant even compare to see if it would work. i have tried to contact Dual them selves yet have yet to suceed. if anyone has any ideas or advice for me please reply to this post and let me know. any help would b greatly appreciated.

Hello
I own an old Dual SP110 that is not originally wired, has a tweeked DC transformer and rectifier, but you can see in the photo i upload where the wirings are made.
All is needed is a power supply rectified in 12 volts dc.

I've never heard of a Dual SP110 turntable.

Cheers,
Alec

It looks kinda similar to the CS530 from what little I can see on the picture. Maybe a later Asian made model??? Glenn.

This deck was sold in the 80´s as part of Siemens HiFi combos made in West Germany. I ripped off the combo and made a wood plinth. With the original Dual cell it had a good imagery, looks cheap but sounded great! If anyone knows where to find a suitable belt, I would apreciate the information. I have an Ortofon VMS 20e mkII still brand new waiting for him.One of these days it will be back in business.
By the way, I inverted the poles, negative is positive and vice-versa!!!
