Realistic Lab-58

Hi all, I got this TT for free and was wondering, what if anything could be done to bring some life into this unit. Suggestions for headshells, carts anything you can think of to upgrade the table and make it a keeper? Or is it just what it is? The arm seems decent, has some weight to it, seems like it could be upgraded, but I am far from an expert.

How does this sound right now?.... does it play vinyls well?.... :-k :-k

The closest RS Lab is the 60 in the VE library:

Does it look like yours? A picture would help to make recommendations.

I was leafing through the old RS catalogs to try to find the 58:

In the meantime, do you have a friend, friend's Dad who runs tts? that you can compare the Lab 58 too.....?
