Marantz 6110 reject lever mechanism - 2 questions

Postby garymn » 19 Sep 2010 19:44

Any chance someone has a photo of the reject lever mechanism from the underside, or can tell me how the parts go together? Mine is broken and I'm not clear how it is supposed to be.

The pin was broken and laying down in the tray. I found another but am not sure how to properly install it. It looks like this is supposed to go through the shaft and then the right-angle end of the "joint" goes into one end of the pin. I have 2 questions.

The spring is attached to the chassis; where does the other end attach? Does the "joint" slide back and forth through the spring?

And the "stopper." It looks like the end of the pin is supposed to go through the square hole in the stopper, to limit the movement, but on mine the pin just doesn't line up with the hole in the stopper. Is the pin supposed to be bent to go into the hole in the stopper? On mine it appears that overbending may have caused it to break.

The manual for this is at <http://www.vinylengine.com/library/marantz/6110.shtml>

Thanks for any help.

Found some good photos-fixed the problem

The "joint" was bent to about 90 degrees; not sure how this happened, but some good photos show it clearly should be a wider angle. This did the trick. I was also able to find a pin that fit at my local hardware store!!

Anyone looking for some good photos of the Marantz TT 6110 underside, check here:

Thanks for the PM. Happy trails to you!
