Any information and openions about this? Seems identical to the SL72B except for the headshell that cannot accept a ½ inch mount cartridge.

That's exactly what it is (but doesn't it have the larger platter of the SL95B/SL75B?). Servicing/repair will be done in the same way as those other large-chassis SL models.

The platter is smaller and lighter than the AT6 platter. This unit seems to be made for the American market, the synchro-lab motor is 120V/60Hz only.
