Shure M75ED type 2

Postby real.africa » 18 Mar 2008 21:30

Hello everyone I just arrived!
I need a new stylus for my old cartridge on my old pioneer PL-12D deck. The one I'm replacing is a EJ T2 stylus which strictly speaking is for the Shure M75EJ cartridge. I guess they are compatible but wonder which stylus is best to buy, the ED or the EJ?
All help / advice will be appreciated.

Hi, I just arrived too!

The ED stylus is the better of the two, and yes the two stylus are interchangeable. Take a look at the Shure page in the Library section. A lot of great information there in the M75 Series.

The EJ Type 2 brings back many fine memories from college 30+ years ago.

Yes, why don't you download the M75 info from the library? :D
