I live in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state in Brazil. Try this if you have no idea where that is:

Where in the World

Postby finkerbell » 22 Apr 2004 20:15

Greetings from the largest city in the State of Maine, U.S.A.

OK, that's a bit misleading. While the City of Ellsworth IS the largest in square miles (93 sq. mi. of land and water), it is also the smallest incorporated city in the state at a bit over 6,000 population. This gives us the combination of a small town with City status.

For more information see:

http://www.ellsworthme.com

One downside of being here -- envy of all of you who have easy access to good equipment and classical recordings.

But then, I grew up in New York City.

HELLO TO THE WORLD!
I just spent a few minutes reading through a travelogue of who, where, and why. It’s outstanding! To start, a little house keeping is in order.
To Jan Voorn, my apologies for President Bush’s lack of geographic skills.

To Josani from the Phillipines, Segui’.Sa’lamet Po….. I spent 2 years at Clark field back in the 1966-68 and drank enough San Miguel beer (Manila, not Phillipines) to float back to the United States! Between Quezon city, Angeles city and my girlfriend from Illicano/Baguio. I got to see some of the best the Phillipines had to offer..Oh, I forgot Pagson han Falls(I hope I had that spelled correct).

To my friend up there in Milan, the closest I got to you was Florence, but that’s another story! In fact I just got back from Pozzuoli/Sorrento/amalfi/Positano about a month ago!

My American Brethren, I live in the New York City area. About 20 miles east of New York City on a Peninsula called “Long Island along with another 2.5 million people!

I’m fortunate to have it all. Variety of 4 seasons, I live very near the water, great beaches from April to October. Close commute to Midtown Manhattan to sample the best the City has to offer, theater, food, arts, music and a host of Audio Salons! ( isn’t that what its all about?)

Hi I live in Great Torrington, North Devon UK.
I moved here from Essex, UK 2 years ago and I find myself listening to more music down ’ere in the back of beyond. I find my hi-fi details and upgrading dreams less important, a new stylus is all I need in life, that’s very fortunate cos that’s all I can afford … 30 quid for a MP11 needle! sorry stylus. Anyway it’s nice here.

Another UK member here.

I'm in Upminster, Essex, on the East-North-East outskirts of London.

To be honest, I'm happy with my overall set up, and don't really feel the need to change. Which, to be honest, is probably better for me and my wallet, as all I listen to is the music.

Hi
I live in a little village in North Cornwall called Boscastle
You may have heard of it lately ,fortunately at the top of a 1 in 7 hill so unaffected by the water.

:) hi deck here...

i live in London almost plumb center of town about half a mile from the houses of parliament.

the bad news...

i'm just south of the river in an administrative borough called Lambeth, makes me want to emigrate...

been into hi-fi since the early 70's as a teenager, first the mags then real gear!

:) Abril of course i've heard of Boscastle i work in the media, i watched the story breaking live on sky news. we sent a snapper down there the next day to follow up. he went round to the witch's museum it was a write-off but it seems they had some interesting things in there...

wow! this is the united nations of vinyl.

:( :? :) :o :D.....
