Rolling

Thanks for that... You've put a smile on my face... :D

Now the fact that Stefano & ole Blue were lost on this one makes me guess that I will never probably own or see one.

But hey, at least I know what to ask for if I ever make another trip to Aarhus.

The proprietor must be Japanese I'm sure. That wallpaper is very popular over there.

Rgds all and thanks again....

Apparently Neumann used the Lyrec SM8 motor for their cutting lathes up until 1976.

Lyrec

Johnny,

Great stuff that link, thanks a lot!
Now to start boning up on Japanese(?) I guess...
It seems to be part of a comparative review of
EMT/Lyrec/Neumann TTs and Lathes done by
somebody who really knows his oats...

Stefano, Starboy,
Another similar (?) TT that is on offer here in
DE on "Audio-Markt.de" is a "Mechlabor 102"
Anyone with further info on that one?

BrianC,
If I read through Johnny's link properly that
SM8 motor was a 100 watt 20 kg of a beast....
Whaw!
