SpeedBox II Vs Speedbox SE...

Postby V6us » 24 Jan 2007 16:16

I have a Rpm-5 with a Tubebox Se, and for upgrade my TT, i wan't to buy a speedbox.
It's just for a sound upgrade, i don't wan't that for change rpm33 to rpm45.
Perhaps someone haved this two models tested and can explain the sound differnce between Se an II.
Thanks.

Hervé.

I got the speed box II for my pro-ject persrpective with stunningly good results. They told me that the SE version is even better which I believe but a search in the Internet revealed what I suspected. It might be better but not that good to Jastify the huge difference in price (90 vs 380 Euros).
So to conclude,It is imperative that you get one but prefer the cheap one it's so good that for me it would even Jastify the price of the SE version.
