Nottingham tonearm identification

Postby Keso77 » 19 Aug 2012 01:05

So I need some help.

Can anyone confirm if this one is an older ace space tonearm from Nottingham Analogue?
I am having a hard time distinguishing it from a mentor tonearm.

I bought it believing it was an ace space on an older interspace but i can't really confirm this.

Any help would be appreciated.

And I have exactly the same arm Keso. An early Space (probably one of the first series) as was confirmed by NA when I sent it for a service and rewire.

Good looking deck!

Are you as happy with the arm as I am?
Took me a good while to set up and i had to resolder two of the bloody cartridge clips but once I heard it everything was forgiven!

The deck is a Blue Note 12 I've put together for my son. Lucky little sod. A kind of up-market Rega with an acrylic platter and some thought, as against to a Rega.

Is the arm good? On the PT it was a hard act to beat and worked wonderfully. On the BN very good indeed.

Guys, what cartridges are you using on yours?
My Rondo Bronze might be headed to the next world.

Ortofon 2M Red. He is my son after all so I don't want to spoil him too much. Works very nicely.

In the past I've used a Blue Note Boboli, a Denon DL304 and a Benz ACE. All worked wonderfully, especially the Blue Note.
