I am a newbie so please excuse me if I'm not 100% clear on what the real issue is.
But I brought a REGA Planar 2 turntable with a RB250 arm which was upgraded with a Origin Live Sliding VTA adjuster as per the pic below
So the issue is that the arm is just way too high. As you can see below the cartage comes no wear near the platter even when the arm is fully down with the cueing level right down and have the adjustable Origin Live Sliding VTA as low as it will go. It just won't go down any further.
And here you can see below that when the lid is down it hits the counter weight which is really bad. I just think the install of this arm was poor or am I missing something?
I guess I could remove the Origin Live Sliding VTA and just use a nut at the bottom of the arm to secure but would have to add a spacer as is too low this time!
