Has anyone heard of the Empire OP2, I have one of these and can't find any info on it. It was on my 1229Q when I bought it second hand in the 80's and I eventually replaced it with an Ortofon cartridge. The cartridge is plastic bodied and had a cut in on each side so you could slip in the mounting nuts and use short screws. It doesn't look like any of the pictures that have been posted on this thread yet. The stylus looks similar to the picture from the 2000 series with a clearish pink stylus with a fold down stylus protector. Instead of a line under EMPIRE it has a triangle pointing down. I did spin it about six weeks ago and it sounded pretty good, looking at it with a 5x loupe today I'm going to clean the stylus before I spin it again!! If anyone has any info on this one let us all know about it!! Glenn.
