Tonearm cable for NAS space arm

Postby Icorem » 17 Jul 2012 19:58

Hi all

I hope it's not too silly of a question but before I but a space arm by NAS - will I be able to replace stock tonearm cable with another one (need xlr plugs) and if yes - is the arm connector a regular DIN connector or a right angle one ?

Thanks in advance

The Space Arm I have; has continual wiring from the headshell to the phono plugs. No connections at the base.

So if I get you correctly there is no option for changing tonearm cable?

Certainly in my case no, not without changing the entire run. I have to say though it is great quality cable

Why do you need to change it? Can't you just swap the plugs? Mine came with xlr's and I swapped them to phonos so it should be doable the other way round easy if you are handy with a soldering iron

Thanks for the suggestion. Handy is not my middle name but I will ask some handy friend to take care of it for me.
