This Seattle punk record was released posthumously after Mia's murder and is one of my favourites :)

Don't tell us you haven't got this one , Kelvin . I thought you had everything "Kosmische" worth having !

I have just pre-ordered it from Spin CDs for £27.99 . It is due to be released on 23rd of August . It is filed under Cosmic Jokers , not Walter Wegmuller .

This is rather a good time to be interested in Kosmische Musik as there are quite a few albums being re-released at the moment in adition to Walter Wegmuller's LP there are some by the Cosmic Jokers themselves , Manuel Gottsching and Ash Ra Tempel and one I've got on order from Amazon , Gunter Schickert's Uberfallig .This has not been available , at a reasonable price , for many a year . This , of course , is in addition to Can's Lost Tapes which I've got on order from Sainsbury's , of all people . Cheaper than Amazon .Hopefully they will deliver .

Nick

No Nick, Tarot is one of those that I've never found at an acceptable price...yet :) . So this is good news.

The Cosmic Jokers albums I picked up on vinyl many years ago,and also Ashra.

Never thought about shopping at Sainsbury for Kosmische Musik, have to investigate that one

I only went with Sainsbury's because one of the reviewers of the CDs on Amazon let it be known that he got his copy there for £5.00 less than Amazon itself . Having said that the delivery date was immediately put back to the 16th which is rather annoying as there was nothing saying that when I ordered it . Hence me saying that I hope they do deliver and not turn around and say that they can't get hold of the CDs after all .
I must admit I haven't explored Sainsbury's site more than ordering the Can CDs so I'm not to sure how much of our sort of music they stock . Whatever they may have won't be in vinyl form as they only do cds . No harm in looking though ,

Dexy's new album 'One day I'm going to soar', simply because I'm a bit of a fan of Kevin Rowland.

Never heard any tracks from it, but Kevin rarely gets it wrong and all the reviews are very favourable saying it's probably the best Dexy's album yet. I doubt it will let me down.

Didn't buy any today, don't have anything available where I live. Once a year on our vacation I go to Bobs Records and Collectibles in Langley, BC. He must have a million or so LP's and I spend many hours there and spend whatever coin I have saved on whatever catches my eye. Last year my big score was Doobie Brothers, Minute by Minute.

I bought one of the best metal records ever made.

JUDAS PRIEST - BRITISH STEEL

Near mint record condition and the sleeve is still shrink wrapped in mint shape.

Excellence!

I Photoshopped two photos together to show each.

Paid $3.53 cents on eBay! I was very patient and waited several days for this one.

I need to keep going back to this junk shop. It's one of those places where it seems they've had the exact same stuff for years, but I was surprised to find they actually get quite a bit of vinyl cycling through. We had a nice conversation about collecting music, and they gave me a good deal. For $13 I got:

Decent condition overall, ALL due for a deep clean!
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.

Recently I've taken to tracking down some of may favorite garage rock albums from my younger days, including many albums from Estrus records. This one was VERY high on my want list, and I was thrilled to find a still-sealed copy for only $10. Happy day!
