My TT build from scratch - in progress

So after doing alot of refurbs and setup of my own TT's, decided to build one from scratch. Arm is a Pro-ject 9, motor and platter are dual - EDS 500 because it holds speed so well and I even included a strobe and pitch control...currently working on the base but the sub plinth (as I call it) is built...waiting for some copobolo wood for the top....Check it..and by the way, a run test already performed..flawless

Mounting base is MDF, topped with cork (both good sound insulation) and as I said, top will be copobolo...see lat pic for wood color

Hi, A person after my own heart. I just did a preliminary build of something similar. I used the EDS 1000 from a 701 and a Rega OEM arm (something similar to a 101). The first try was OK and sounded quite nice. I used a sandwich of 1 inch and 3/4 inch MDF, 1/4 inch birch plywood and two in between layers of cork. I wasn't happy with the final lacquer paint and decided to try again (no photos of that one yet). This time with a sandwich using real wood. For feet.... I used a design similar to what Sota does on some TTS. 1/4 inch threaded rods with feet. If you use only three it makes it easy to level.
