Is the VTA shim for Ortofon 2M series a known qty?

Is the VTA shim for Ortofon 2M series a known quantity? Seems like it might be by now. I don't have a lot of faith in my ability to eyeball VTA adjustments (nor patience), and would like to settle in with a 2M Black (perhaps Bronze). RB303 in Planar 3.

I've successfully shimmed my RB301 on my P3-24 with the 2M Blue using 3 small nuts that measure appx. 4mm in height. The 3 point mount of the RB301 sits perfectly on these and my 2M Blue sits very properly and sounds proper when playing a record

Opinion seems to vary, but a 4mm spacer under my RB300/2M Red has the arm dead level when playing a record. More level than the Levellers on a spirit level.
