AP 76 Noisy motor !

Postby Chambi95 » 15 Jun 2012 15:16

Hello,

I buy recently a nice AP76 "new old stock"...
It is clean without any scratch, protection are still on platter....

But i experiment a problem : The motor, Synchro-Lab is very noisy. The pulley seems to be free. When i press start, the pulley move down and make metallic noise.

I think a spring or another part is missing in this motor.

Does anybody knows what it could be ?

(i hope you understand my poor English....sorry !)

Most likely a "balancing disk loose" problem. You have seen the time capsule thread so you now know what to do.
