Well done Chas and Veggie Boy - it was easy though.

Your latest challenge has me stumped Veggie Boy. it looks like Bowie or Kurt Cobain but I can't place it.

Chas, for me Lovedrive is Scorpions finest moment. Another Piece of Meat is awesome, as is Holiday - love it.

I've not seen the Old Grey Whistle Test episode you mention but I'll be trawling You Tube later.

wrong gender. Subject is female.

The record is from the early/mid-seventies.

I would expect our European members to be more familiar with this album than N. American members.

Looks like Marianne Faithfull, but I'm stumped on what album, so it probably isn't.

I didn't think this one was that hard. One more clue:

Think German Prog

I've been watching this thread hoping to jump in but have failed so far. I listen to a fair amount of German prog, and this face looks vaguely familiar to me, but I can't place it.

I guess the German Prog can simmer for a bit.

How about this one in the mean time?

I'm impressed you didn't fall for the "Magical Mystery Tour" hook but you are correct.

I almost fell for it at first, but it seemed too easy and then I noticed the color scheme didn't match-up when I looked at the Beatles cover.

OK, I forgot I'm supposed to add one now. Here goes...

It's a (somewhat obscure) 1970s solo album by someone who had been in a very famous and influential English band of the 60s.

I suppose the Beatles could have been considered popular

Paul McCartney ~ Thrillington

This album is somewhat obscure. I've never seen it though I don't claim to be a McCartney completist.

I have expanded the LP I had out before and placed a blue block over the title. Can anybody figure this one out now?
