Wasn't sure where to put this as, oddly enough, there isn't a Vinyl section. At least I couldn't find it. Anyway, has anyone purchased LPs from musicstack.com before? I'm considering using them to find some out of print albums and wanted to know if they are reputable or not. Thanks in advance

Musicstack is a worldwide market place rather than a single retailer. I've bought a few records off there & not had any problems. Some of their sellers are a bit optimistic about their shipping charges though.....

Bought one record NEAR MINT, it was beat to hell and back. Seller claimed he sent me the wrong copy. Why didn't he send me the right one, if he had it? Got refund, forced him to pay return shipping like his ad stated. Took my butt back to eBay.
Been looking for the record for 20 years, guys- Dvorak Dumky Trio on ancient 1958 VOX pressing,PLP 2070, Trio De Trieste ( not the one on DG, older group).I made a wonderful tape, then gifted LP to a great friend, but the tape is not enough.

I've used Musicstack many times. As mentioned in earlier posts it's private sellers only so could be luck of the drawer regarding gradings. Fortunately, I've rarely had any bad experiences ordering online this way (Ebay included). As long as there is a feedback rating system, the majority of sellers will be as honest as possible.

You may also like to check out Discogs and Netsounds. These sites work in the same way as Musicstack.

I've only bought a couple items on MusicStack, but the experiences have been extremely positive. Unlike some other sites, MusicStack requires a minimum number of items in a seller's store (500 items, I think), so your selection there is generally from professional dealers rather than clueless people clearing out grandpa's attic.

There's also GEMM.com. You'll find a lot of the same MusicStack sellers on GEMM, but you'll also find people like ... well, me.

I have also had great experiences with musicstack.com. Prices are all over the place for the same record, so I usually send emails to sellers with questions and most have been very forthcoming.
