TD125, changing capacitors?

Postby PaulMB » 28 May 2012 23:35

This is probably a question with no answer.
I've read here and elsewhere of people buying a TD125 and, as a matter of course, changing the two 1000uF 25Volt axial caps with something similar or slightly higher rated.
But, if the TT is working fine and the two caps don't show signs of selling or leakage, is it better to just leave them alone?
And if one does replace them, does this mean one then has to go through the whole thing of re-checking the voltages and adjusting the trimmers?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm OK now, thanks, I got a clear answer to the questions on PFM, so forget it.

Thanks,
