A note of caution – I bought one of those and it didn't fit my Planar 3. You may have to enlarge the hole – if you choose to use it.

yes, I will need to enlarge the hole if I use the VTA but I dont what to do that if I find that the VTA adjuster nut has raised the arm too much (1.75mm)

When I had my single post RB300 this one works very well with the stock nut on the P3 table.

It is thin and fit in the P3 hole I had perfect. If anything it needed to be widened very little to turn it easily. Sand paper would do, no grinding etc.
It fits from the top of the hole and secured with the original nut.
Expressimo also sells the extended nut.
