Sound better, worse, the same, as the original issues?

Can you just confirm;do you mean "No Fair Warning" is good, or do you mean it's bad ?

If you're saying it's bad;in what way is it bad ?

Fair Warning was not re-issued like the other titles, VH1, VH2, Women And Children First, and 1984 were the only ones.
Fair Waring is MY FAVORITE VH record.

I think I get what the original poster is saying I feel the original pressings sound quality wise SUCK also. NO bottom and a tinny high end, basically garbage. The only good sounding record is the Fair Warning one and maybe Women and Children First. Even the later albums like 1984 and 5150 sound bad to me.

I also want to know how the reissues on 180g sound in comparison so if anyone knows ANSWER the question please. it is a serious poignant one that I need to know before buying those myself.

I don't know if this counts as the "latest" 180G - but the 180G of the first album that Steve Hoffman/Kevin Gray did sounds absolutely wonderful.

I am sure they must be an improvement because I have recently relistened to all the early Van Halen albums and they all sound terribly thin.

I actually more impressed with the fact that the first Van Halen album was released in 1977 .... ummm when Star Wars was released lol.

I .... feeeeel ... oooooold.

I know...it's crazy isn't it? The Kevin Gray/Steve Hoffman 180G of the debut addresses the lack of bass issue BIG time.
