I use one of those rouge brushes too and also a carbon fiber brush. I perfer the carbon fiber since it seems to resist a magnetic charge getter. The other brush is fine for dusting lenses and whatnot, though.
I also use a straight razor and learned the way most guys who use one probably did-on my own neck. I first used it an twitched a little with my wrist and watch the blood flow from the shallw gash I put in my neck. I looked at the razor and thought, "I just spent umpteen dollars on this fine razor and strop. Now what do I do?" answer: I learned real quickly how to use it properly. I got so good I was able to shave a very scrawny man for open heart surgery (neck to ankles) with an unguarded straight razor, and the guy had the hiccups. Not a nick on him.Put one of those surgical clippers in my hand and I can draw more blood than a vampire on spring break.
