It needs oiling i think or is it faulty electronics? It's the green light that starts dimmer then when it hits speed goes greener is the thing that worries me.
Any advice would be massively appreciated.
The Axis has a motor drive circuit that spins the platter up to speed with maximum power, and then reduces the power to minimise vibration. I suspect that the change in intensity of the LED is normal and reflects the altered state of the circuit. Mind you, I've never owned one.
The problems when starting could also perhaps be symptoms of a loose belt, in which case a replacement Linn belt would help (these are readily available).
