Hi Guys,
I'm new in this forum and in TT business also that's way I've got couple of questions and I will much appreciated if I can get help or advise from you.
I bought one month ago from eBay a very nice TT Oracle Delphi MK III with Alphason
HR 100 S Tonearm with Adcom Cartridge XC/MR 1. After hook up with all my audio equipment I want to listen Dionne Warwick (LP vinyl record) in my speakers. Everything works perfect ,the sound was great ,and I enjoy the music like couple hours.
Yesterday big mistake, I don't know how happened I bend the needle from cartridge
and I try to fix it,actually to get straight but unfortunately I broke down the needle.So now I ask you if is possible to change with another needle or I have to buy another cartridge? What kind of cartridge did you recommend me for Alphason tonearm in maximum range $400-$500 or less?

you can send the cartridge to Soundsmith for a cantilever rebuild for $150, but the waiting time is at least 4 months. The Ortofon Black 2C is a nice mix with the alphason. If you are looking for an MC cartridge, there are plenty of great used ones in your price range, dyna 17d2, Benz Micro, Sumiko EvoIII, there is also the Denon 103 that a lot of people like
