For sale a gorgeous upgraded Rega Planar 3 with rb-250 tonearm. The turntable has a new belt , glass platter and dust cover. The motor has been lubricated and oiled with premium sewing machine oil. The tonearm has been upgraded with a stainless steel stub and rega counterweight. Also, the arm has been professionally rewired by a local hi fi dealer here in Montreal ( Coup de Foudre Audio ) with the cardas incognito rewiring kit. The table also comes with an audio technica at-120e cartridge body in which you have many choices of stylus' that you can mount on this cart. I am including an aftermarket cork mat and the original rega felt mat with a stylus brush.
Condition:
The turntable is in fantastic condition, no scratches marks or smudges anywhere. The tonearm as well as the wiring is in pristine condition, no paint chips near the mounting area where the screws attach the cartridge , bearings are perfect. The dustcover is very clean , has the usual swirl marks from daily dust ( very normal ) but no deep scratches of any kind. You will be hard pressed to find a Planar 3 in better shape, it looks like it came out of the box.
